This is thanks to the rotor being able to accept not only common lab blood tubes such as Monovettes and Vacutainers, but also the generic 15ml conical bottom Falcon (culture) laboratory centrifuge tubes.

The centrifuges are supplied with an angle rotor that can hold up to 50mL×6, 15mL×6 (A6-50P ),15mL×8, or 10mL/7mL/5mL×12 (SS-6105 ) vacuum tubes.
